It's such a pity that many people completely overlooked the clue that specifically said in the submission form that this airline was NOT based in Hawaii! Otherwise, most people did very well! We remind you this was a magazine ad published in a Condé Nast Traveller issue of the late 1980s.

How to guess it?

There were few clues here, except perhaps the mention of the most flights to the most islands, and the Royal Hawaiian service on every flight. Oh, and of course the size of the blank. And of course the clue that many people did not follow! It was NOT an airline based in Hawaii.
