Guess The Airline - April 2004

A lot of people guessed the correct airline because there was a huge clue that played an equally huge role in getting the right answer. Before continuing, remember: this was a magazine ad published in a National Geographic issue of the mid-1960s.

How to guess it?

Very easy: the major clue here was the aircraft type: the VC-10. Few airlines operated the VC-10, and only one had a major operation across the Atlantic. In case you hadn't guessed it yet, you had the color scheme to help you out. (British Airways was not a correct answer, because it wasn't the airline's name at the time)
