Which airline bought Wardair in 1989? This one. It ran ads for months in 1989 showing the logos of the two airlines side by side while showcasing their crews in respective uniforms. The message was the same every time: this airline's fleet met Wardair’s superb service. Before going out of business, they still flew to the cities depicted on the map except for Manchester and Copenhagen.
