Guess The Airline - April 2007

Once again, this was an advertisement published in a 1989 issue of The Atlantic Advocate, a magazine distributed in Eastern Canada. As no wrong answer stood out this time, there is no "most submitted wrong answer" in the statistics.

How to guess it?

Contrary to popular belief, this was not an impossible game:
  • The submission form said the airline still existed (in despite of some confusion on the initial few days).
  • Therefore, it could NOT be Braniff, in despite of the "Flying colors" mention.
  • It wasn't Flying Colors either because "the name of the airline is hidden everywhere."
  • At some point, the airline flew to all the destinations listed.
  • The colors of the strips could help.
  • The location of the magazine where this ad was featured was a fairly easy clue. Now, can you picture many airlines advertising on a magazine made for Eastern Canada and therefore, having flights out of Eastern Canada?
