How to guess it?
The introductory text mentioned this was a Canadian frequent flyer program back in 1999. Air Canada already had a long-date affiliation with CIBC
Visa as well as Diners Club (and later on, with American Express). The only remaining Canadian airline having a frequent flyer program affiliated to a credit card was this one. The word "Plus" in the phone number could have also been a clue.
