Guess The Airline - August 2009

Once again, this was an advertisement published on a Time Magazine issue of 1987 in Canada.

How to guess it?

Did you think it was impossible? This author went as far as mimicking the company's logo by using the same font and color when writing "Airline Logo" and leaving the word Canada, which was part of the logo. Then, all you had to do was to type "Montreal-Brussels $299" on a search engine and voilĂ ! You'd find pictures of this airline's airplanes with the surprisingly low fare painted above the fuselage windows. And you'd also find that the flights were on DC-8 jets, instead of the more modern Boeing 747 or DC-10 jets the competitors would fly across the Atlantic out of Montreal.

If you think the advertisement's margins are wrong and the text is poorly centered, you are right. This is exactly how the advertisement appeared on the magazine.
