Guess The Airline - July 2006

The number of people participating in this game are better than last month, for a first-time appearance on Guess The Airline. One can see that the motivation to guess it right was there. Once again, this was an advertisement published in the May 1995 issue of Frequent Flyer, the OAG magazine.

"From Seoul to: New York, Los Angeles, Honolulu, San Francisco, Detroit, Seattle, Shanghai, Beijing, Saipan, Manila, Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong, Khabarovsk, Ho Chi Minh City, Okinawa, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Takamatsu, Osaka, Nagoya, Toyama, Tokyo, Sendai."

How to guess it?

A lot of people guessed simply by looking at the airplane. Others focused on the Northwest Airlines partnership and said... Northwest Airlines. Now, how can Northwest Airlines be a partner with itself? Some people said Korean Air, but overlooked the all-Boeing fleet clue. Plus, look at the route map. For your convenience, I also typed the whole list of destinations below the advertisement. This was a dead giveaway.
