This is probably the Guess The Airline game where people have responded most positively. It was made easy, and people obviously noticed. This month, we had an ad published in
National Geographic magazine in the early 1970s.

How to guess it?
Fairly easy. Just look at the advertisement of
January 2000, which features the same airline, and you will recognize a very similar style for this campaign. The 747 can't be too big of a clue, as this was the backbone of the major US airlines overseas operations back then. The destinations were a much bigger give-away, especially Minneapolis! And so were the colors, and the "Orient Express" name.
