guess the airline!
This guess the airline was, by far, one of those that registered a lot of participation... and a lot of good answers! The other answers were... more restrictive than the previous games as they all concentrated on ONE continent: Europe, for obvious reasons (it was mentioned in the text). This commercial was taken from the back cover of a particularly useful Canadian travel guide for all countries. Are you ready to scroll down?

Almost there! This is the full version!
How to guess it??? A user named Peter explains: "Blue sky, fontstyle, the little aircraft, the 747 service to Canadian destinations and the transfer possibilities to Europe." Excellent! Very well done. As always, this is an example of continuity in advertising. No wonder all the airodyssey.net internal banners look almost the same (typewriter font, quad background). This one was perhaps a bit too easy, still many people submitted answers like Lufthansa (which came quite often), Air Canada and Canadian (guesses originating from the Canadian origin of the ad) and even United Airlines. And by the way... KLM does not really fly to Ottawa, but offers its passengers a connecting motorcoach service from Ottawa to Montreal-Dorval Airport (duration: 3 hours), then continuing on to Amsterdam Schiphol on a KLM wide-body (usually a 747, sometimes an MD-11), for the same fare as an Ottawa-Amsterdam non-stop. | ||
