It's all in the country of origin, the year of foundation (ad from the 1980s - 40 years = 1940s) and the aircraft type: the venerable Lockheed L-1011 TriStar. Only one airline could have fitted all the criteria: British West Indian Airways, a.k.a. B-Wee! Statistics Correct answers: 86% Wrong answers: 14% Most submitted wrong answer: Delta (6%) Other answers submitted: British Caledonian, BWI, LIAT, Qantas, South African.
