guess the airline!
So, have you guessed throughout the month of September? This was an ad published in a magazine from Bermuda in the 1980s. Was it Air Transat? British Airways? BWIA? Caledonian? Ready? Scroll down! This is the mystery commercial. Scroll down to view the full version! ![]() Almost there! This is the full version! ![]() How to guess it???There are many subtle clues in this commercial. First of all, the aircraft type: the Lockheed L-1011-500 TriStar. Do you know many airlines that fly the L-1011-500 to "Bahamas, Jamaica, Mexico and Panama direct"? Also, take a look at how the aircraft type is written on the aircraft itself: "TriStar 500", with the 500 in red characters. This is very particular to this airline's color scheme in the era. Now, think also of the slogan. "We'll take more care of you.". Finally, I intentionally left the scarf of the flight attendant (oops, I mean "air hostess", as they are known over there!). The colors of this scarf are unmistakeable. There you go. British Airways, or simply known as BA. StatisticsCorrect answers: 83% (specifically British Airways) Wrong answers: 17% Most submitted wrong answer: BWIA (4%) Other answers submitted: BEA, BOAC, bmi, British Airtours, British Caledonian, Delta, Laker. Statistics include second, third tries, etc. Disqualified entries (e.g. a player submitting several answers at the same time) are not included.
