guess the airline!
Without a doubt, this was the poorest Guess The Airline in the history of airodyssey.net. The lowest number of participants since the humble beginnings in 1999, and the highest number of incorrect answers. The following is a magazine ad featured in a mid-1990s issue of FrequentFlyer, OAG's monthly magazine. Ready? Scroll down!

Almost there! This is the full version!
How to guess it???Why have so few people guessed correctly? Possibly because of the lack of clues. Some users mentioned having chosen Qantas because of the "hop, skip and jump" like a kangaroo in the text. Others mentioned Air France because the two airports could be Orly and Charles-de-Gaulle (Roissy, the alternate name of this airport, would indeed fit the blank). But those who mentioned Swissair correctly had done so because of the font used by the commercial, and then because of the slogan ("Time is everything", which was then followed by the "World's Most Refreshing Airline" campaign). StatisticsCorrect answers: 39% Wrong answers: 61% Most submitted wrong answer: British Airways or BOAC! (10%) Other answers submitted: Air Canada, Air France, Alitalia, American, bmi, Delta, Iberia, Lufthansa, Pan Am, Qantas, TWA, United, Virgin Statistics include all submissions, including second, third tries, etc.
