What do you think of "Guess The Airline"?

guess the airline!
Month-Year This was probably one of the toughest games yet. Absolutely nobody guessed the airline. The answers were very diverse, and even included airlines which never flew a 747 in their entire existence! So, I suppose you must be at least a tad anxious to see the answer! (Please note: the text was retyped since the poor original scan made it unintelligible).

How to guess it???
Perhaps I should have left at least one small clue, like leaving a navy blue portion on the baggage tag instead of entirely "bleaching" it. But besides that, there is perhaps the bit of research and the attempt to narrow down the number of 747 operators having an "Executive Cabin". Pan Am could have been an excellent answer, since it was the first airline to introduce the concept of Business Class. However, they called it the "Clipper Class". The other clue is the slogan. Those who saw it in the past could have guessed British Airways.

So, this was Business Class at the time, even before Business Class was invented! Priority boarding, closed cabin, better food, more flight attendants, same economy-type seat or perhaps a tad wider, barely reclinable... and no movie! All of that for the price of a fully paid Economy seat!

I would like to leave you with my personal opinion. This is probably not a very efficient commercial. A very big flaw is that the name of the airline is never repeated in the text body. We only see the logotype on the baggage tag. Also, the "little touches" on the Executive Cabin, besides the absence of an inflight movie and closed cabin, are never explained further.

Thanks to Jakrin Areesorn for providing the commercial.
